Clear Creek Wind Farm

The 242 megawatt (MW) Clear Creek Wind Farm in Nodaway County, Missouri, provides renewable power to Associated Electric Cooperative, an electric generation and transmission cooperative based in Springfield, Missouri. Associated Electric Cooperative provides power to 910,000 members across Missouri, southeast Iowa and northeast Oklahoma.

Clear Creek went into operation in May 2020. Bright Canyon Energy owns a minority interest in Clear Creek Wind Farm along with Tenaska.

Nobles Wind Power

Nobles 2 Wind Farm

The 250 megawatt (MW) Nobles 2 Wind Farm in Nobles County, Minnesota, provides renewable power to Minnesota Power that in turn provides power to 145,000 customers in Minnesota. Minnesota Power is a subsidiary of ALLETE.

Nobles 2 went into operation in December 2020. Bright Canyon Energy owns a minority interest in Nobles 2 Wind Farm along with Tenaska and ALLETE.

Los Alamitos Microgrid

The Los Alamitos Microgrid in Orange County, California, consists of 31 MW of solar, 20 MW of battery storage, and 3 MW of backup generators. Under normal grid conditions, Los Alamitos will sell energy, capacity and renewable attributes to San Diego Gas and Electric Company under a long-term power purchase agreement. Under emergency grid conditions, Los Alamitos will provide energy resiliency to the Army and California National Guard at Joint Forces Training Base Los Alamitos. The Los Alamitos Microgrid is scheduled to achieve commercial operation in 2023.

Kūpono Solar

Kūpono Solar

Kūpono Solar is a 42-MW solar and 42-MW/168-MWh battery storage generation facility in Oʻahu, Hawaii, that will provide renewable power to Hawaiian Electric Company (HECO). HECO provides power to more than 300,000 customers on the island of Oʻahu.

Kūpono Solar is scheduled to achieve commercial operation in 2024. Bright Canyon Energy owns a 49.9% interest in Kūpono Solar, along with Ameresco.
